While Stuart Pearce has been busy in the transfer market while away on World Cup pundit duty, Blackpool's new manager Jose Riga begins his spell at Bloomfield Road on Monday after his recent appointment.
The 56-year-old Belgian had a crash course in the Championship with a short spell at Charlton Athletic towards the end of last season.
Chairman Karl Oyston told the Blackpool Gazette: "We’re generally making sure we recruit the (players with the) right abilities and from Tuesday onwards José will meet the players who he thinks have got the right abilities, as well as the character and attitude that he’s after."
