Nottingham Forest returned to something like their early season form against the promotion favourites but were unable to break down a strong Rovers rearguard as the visitors responded well following the departure of Steve Kean.
"I think it is a good point," said Black.
"We have been conceding quite a few goals to date, but it maintains our unbeaten away form, which as you can see from this division's results, is not an easy task.
"I would be honest in saying that I would like to have created a bit more but we changed the shape and the players worked really hard to adopt that shape, and worked really hard to try and make it work."
