Both Nottingham Forest and the Tigers are looking to return to winning ways at the City Ground on Saturday with the Reds returning home after victory at Wolves was followed by defeat at Ipswich.
Hull, meanwhile, were forced to settle for just one point from games at the KC Stadium against Burnley and Crystal Palace.
"Word is spreading that we are a good passing side and teams are shutting us down by coming to the KC Stadium and parking the bus," Quinn told the Hull Daily Mail.
"We have to find ways of creating chances and opening teams up, but we have to stay patient, fans included."
