That result sets Wolves up for another tough away fixture against a resurgent Nottingham Forest side who ground out a narrow success against nine-man Ipswich on Tuesday night.
Midfielder David Edwards told the Express & Star: "We’ve taken four points from the last two games.
"There are teams above us who we can get at and it’s only six points up to 14th.
"It only takes teams to go on a bad run and others to go on a good one. It’s one game at a time, though. We know it’s an important game on Saturday and that’s what we’ve got to concentrate on."
Saunders, however, is well aware of the threat posed by Forest and the 'class players' at Billy Davies's disposal.
