Darren Huckerby has announced he wants to stay at Nottingham Forest but only if the club secures promotion to the Premiership.
The 26-year-old has scored five goals in six games for Forest since joining on loan from Manchester City, including a strike against East Midlands rivals Derby County.
He said: "It's a great club to play for and, of course, I would consider a permanent move if we go all the way to promotion,"
The Nottingham-born striker has become surplus to requirements at Maine Road following the arrival of Jon Macken, Nicolas Anelka and Robbie Fowler.
