The Royals drew another blank in front of goal at the Madejski Stadium and missed a chance to put pressure on Wolves, who also lost at home.

"We got jittery and in the end it was a massive disappointment," said Coppell. "We played well in the first half but we were poor in the second.

"I thought at half-time there was only going to be one winner after we played really well in the first half and created a number of opportunities.

"We have still got 13 games to go and we are still in with a shout even if it's not going our way at the moment."
