'Clark has the unique distinction of not only having played for the club - and won league championship and European Cup winners' medals - but also to have enjoyed great success as manager of The Reds.'
An official club statement heralds the appointment of Frank Clark as chairman.
"Whoever gets the job here, before he accepts it, will be made aware of all the circumstances of what he has, what he is expected to do and what he will be able to do and what he won't be able to do.”
Clark spells out what the new manager of Nottingham Forest will be expected to know when he takes on the job.
"Forest are a fantastic club. From the time that I knew about their interest it was obviously flattering."
Steve Cotterill outlines his reasons for leaving Portsmouth for their Championship rivals.
"He's enthusiastic, he's hungry, he's got a terrific CV and he's experienced at this level. He was everything we were looking for."
Clark again, explaining the decision to make Cotterill his man.
