Taking a break from battling relegation in League One and aiming for promotion to the Premier League respectively, Sheffield United host Nottingham Forest at Bramall Lane on Sunday afternoon in an FA Cup 5th Round tie.
The Blades saw off Fulham after a replay in the previous round while the Reds took two games to defeat a determined Preston North End.
A place in the last eight and a large travelling contingent making the short journey up the M1 should ensure a fiery atmosphere even without the 'Clough versus Davies' aspect that has been making the press headlines this week.
In truth, while that has been a good angle for the media to focus on, that will matter much less this weekend with Nigel Clough no longer in charge of Forest's great rivals.
"The FA Cup means a lot, but not as much as staying up, honestly," he said this week. "If we can do it in tandem then great. We will be completely focused, and staying in the league is our priority but we are going to enjoy the Cup."
Billy Davies, meanwhile, told the official NFFC website: "On Sunday we’ve got to go and show that, irrespective of the conditions, we’re the ones playing with very good confidence and we’re the ones who will do all they can to get their name in the hat for the next round."
