The former England international has been the focus of attention in the football world this weekend after celebrating his 40th birthday while continuing to play in the Premiership.
Sheringham, who scored 23 times for the Reds in 62 games after a move from Millwall in 1991, has confirmed his place alongside a number of former Forest players who will play a Notts County side managed by Sam Allardyce in honour of former Notts favourite Richardson.
The game takes place on Sunday 30th April at Meadow Lane.
