'Soul-searching' on the cards for Forest

"We had a long summer of soul searching and we have some more to do now," said Calderwood after defeat by League Two side Peterborough in the Johnstones Paint Trophy.

"We will go away as a coaching staff to think where we can improve it, about what we can do to change the atmosphere in the dressing room.

"Are our basics right? Are our principles right? Are we right? The majority of the time I think the answer will be yes.

"We are not at the stage where we have to change our formation or our approach. We have benefited from being patient through the summer and pre-season and we will really benefit from that patience now."
