Stanley hoping for Forest cash boost

The game, which is being shown live on Sky, will provide a big financial boost to newly-promoted Stanley who have seen the euphoria of their return to the Football League dampened slightly by low crowds in their first two home games, something that the visit of the Reds should rectify.

Chairman Eric Whalley told the club website: “We want the people of Accrington to be proud of their football club, unfortunately the area does have its problems, but Stanley is one of the town's true success stories.

"We want as many people as possible to join with us, experience what we have created over the last few years, and hopefully the journey will continue well into the future!”
