Stone waits after third operation

The ex-England international has yet to play for Leeds since his move from Portsmouth in the summer after rupturing an achilles in pre-season training.

He has undergone a third operation on the problem and Leeds manager Kevin Blackwell said: "Steve will have the plaster removed some time next week now and we will know more then."
