Nottingham Forest's Luke Chambers feels striker Marcus Tudgay is one of the best players in the Championship.Tudgay, 27, scored on his Forest debut in their 3-0 victory over Crystal Palace and added two more in Wednesday night's 5-2 thumping of Derby.
Chambers told BBC Radio Nottingham: "He's made an impact all around the place and for me he's one of the best players in the Championship.
"What a signing for us and long may his form continue."
Tudgay is currently on loan from Sheffield Wednesday until January, when his move is expected to become permanent.
"For me, personally, he's one of the toughest opponents I've ever faced," Chambers continued.
Goalkeeper Lee Camp added: "The injection of Marcus has been fantastic.
"You have seen the way he has taken his goals in the two games he has played in - his all-round play has been top class.
"I am delighted to have him here as I know what quality he has got, and he has certainly shown the Forest faithful in the last two games what he has got."
