The younger brother of England international Shaun Wright-Phillips is thought to be one of a number of players that the Forest boss has been unable to sign on a loan and he has aired his frustrations at not being able to streghthen the squad in the past few weeks.
"We've found ourselves coming up against big problems in bringing some players in," Megson told the official Forest website.
"We need to be able to offer players something better than where they're at.
"We're finding that, in a lot of instances, what we can offer in terms of where we are football-wise isn't particularly attractive to a lot of players.
"They've got to be good enough in the first place and there's not many players about at this stage of the season."
