The former West Ham youngster's displays in League One have led to talk of a January bid from the Reds but Slade said: "He's our player and he's under contract to us for the best part of another year and a half.
"We're happy with him, he's happy being at Yeovil and really we need to move on from all this speculation.
"Once I've said that nothing is going to happen and he's staying here that should automatically settle things down.
"There's no substance to it because Forest haven't spoken to me since we played against them here and lost 1-0."
